It was a reasonable amount so I hired him. His crew started on Saturday morning, did a complete pressure wash, fixed cracks in the stucco, and patched things that needed repaired. They finished the job on the same day, and cleaned up after themselves. The crew was very professional, respectful, and all about business. The house was looking faded after all that time, so I got two other quotes. Inflation sticker shock!…George was by far the least expensive. I called him back, we walked the perimeter of the house, pointing out all the work that had to be done, and he honored the original quote. No deposit required…payment only after all work was done to our satisfaction. They started one week later.”

“George Stewart painted our home and I would highly recommend them. They did a very thorough job and it looked very nice when it was done. I recently purchased the home and it was not very well maintained. They had to scrap a lot of old caulk off and reapply it. They also filled in cracks on the outside of the foundation. They repaired nail holes in the front entrance and re-textured it. They also sealed a newly installed front wall before they painted it. The price for all the repairs and painting was very reasonable. On our block, there were several other houses painted by this business. They all look very nice.”

“Most of these reviews are for painting, but the roofing part of the name is every bit as exceptional. October 2023 – Our 25+ year old tile roof, with an additional layer of underlayment added years before, needed some maintenance along the edges. A neighbor was using Stewart Roofing and it was clear they were doing a good job. George gave us a fair estimate and the crew did an excellent job adding new drip edges and bind stops. And they did a very good job with cleaned up, which is often less than adequate with roofing crews. March 2026 – The roof had developed a couple of leaks and the 2 layers of underlayment needed to be removed and replaced. We knew to call Stewart. It was a big job but, again, the crew was excellent. It was to take about 3 days but it took a couple more since there was considerable hidden damage. The original and add-on materials were not of a particularly good quality.”

“When I met George, the owner of the company I had a good feeling about his honesty! I am very hard on contractors and want precision work. Stewart painting gave me a house I am proud to look at! They helped with color selection, fixed my stucco, moved the ground rocks to waterproof the bottom of my home, patched cracks, treated the fascia after they scraped off the peeling paint, power washed the entire house , calked every place that needed it , covered my windows and doors moved all my yard furniture and potted plants as well as yard art …among numerous other things! Once they were done, in two days mind you; they put everything back and cleaned up perfectly! “Amazed to have the whole house painted in two days after the initial contract was drawn up two days before that. Unfortunately, I should have requested samples to put onto the house as the whole home color appeared much different than the small swatch we chose the day before it went on….😕!
As you can see we went from dull tan to almost pink!! Painters remorse but not to say they did a neat and thorough job. Some of the neighbors like the new glow on the block😆.
Stewarts team of three worked 6 & 8 hrs per day and patched some stucco cracks after power washing and before painting and prepped and protected all cement areas and windows from paint. Primed concrete courtyard roof tiles and front door before application of acrylic paint to ensure adhesion/longevity. Used a paint sprayer for complete coverage.
Passed inspection for a fair price. But I may have to call them back for a color change though, when I can afford it.”

“I had spoken with George last year and he happened to stop by to see if I was ready to have my 25 yr old faded paint house repainted. His quote was fair and the next day they powerwashed my house, then painted the dark bump outs and facia. Today they came back and finished the body of the house.
I was able to observe them work and his paint crew is meticulous in their work. Any defect in the stucco was fixed and they carefully masked everything that wasn’t getting painted.
If I ever need to have painting done I’ll only go to George Stewart Painting.”

The cut lines between colors are perfect and everything was thoroughly coated with two coats. I could not find any light or missed areas. Will definitely use George again next time we need painting done. Do not hesitate to use them!

Update: As part of our house painting agreement, George had included to have his team return to paint our new patio extension once finished. After issues finding a contractor that was not corrupt, we finally found one and patio was finished one year later and George did not hesitate. He sent his crew out and painted the new patio within two weeks of me reaching out. He’s a man of his word and his crew is the best. Great job, great value. Would not consider anyone else to paint our home!”
